a month agoIf you are looking for authentic and great tasting BBQ, Smoke and Dagger is a must-visit! They have created a wonderful down-home family atmosphere where you instantly feel welcome. What really sets them apart is the variety on the menu. Whether you're craving brisket, chicken, sausage, or ribs, they have you covered. I tried the pulled pork, and it was outstanding—perfectly moist, juicy, and packed with deep smoky flavor. They also offer a huge variety of homemade sauces to choose from (everything from sweet to hot), so you can customize your plate exactly how you like it. Great food, awesome environment for the kids, and excellent portions. Highly recommend!

2 months agoDefinitely coming back!!! The BBQ is wonderful! Served on homemade buns! Yes please! I got the double meat with pork and brisket. The bark from the brisket added a whole new level of flavor. Maybe a little to salty but so good! Fried green tomatoes, amazing!! The hush puppies with honey butter are so good. The tables inside are so cool! We enjoyed our meal and recommend if you're in the Princeton area.

2 months agoBy far THE BEST bbq joint and sandwich I’ve ever had! The portions were large, the prices were reasonable, and the flavor was heavenly. 10/10 recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

3 months agoThis was our first time here and the food was stellar!! We will definitely be back! Hubby and I had pulled pork, smoked sausage, chopped brisket (slightly more fat than meat, but delicious), fried green tomatoes, onion rings, Mac n cheese, and hush puppies. We both had the Delta BBQ sauce. The portions were generous, the employees were friendly, and the tables looked very cool with custom shou sugi ban burned wood! We were so hungry we forgot to take pics of the food!

5 months agoWas in the area because my wife's job, and was in the mood for some good bbq for about a month now. finally found this little gem of a restaurant. This restaurant definitely scratch the itch for some great quality bbq! Everything was fantastic for the most part with only 1 critique for me. The ribs I got were slightly dry, just slightly . The sauce made up for though which was quite delicious as with the rest of the food. Especially the brisket! Great service, lots of seating, very clean place, and quick hot and fresh food! Doesn't really get any better!

10 months agoPlease dont let the photo fool you. I was so impressed after eating most of it... that is the photo you see. We enjoyed the Brisket and Pulled pork with the following sides for the 2 of us... Mac N cheese, fried pickles onion rings and mozzarella sticks. Meat was juicy and well flavored. We sampled all the sauces. Worth getting. And the staff was warm and welcoming. When we come back to the area we will definitely stop back. 😀

11 months agoBaked potato was cold wouldn’t even melt cheese or butter, The potato wasn’t even done it was very hard on the inside! I told the guy at the register he could have cared less he’s very rude just brushing me off like nothing was wrong! Too spend 30.00 for food I expect be able to eat my food. Only thing good was the pork.

a year agoOkay. So they know how to do really good BBQ. The staff has always been welcoming at either of their establishments. Are some people not happy? If you know REAL BBQ, this is legit. Forget what you know. There was just one issue. They were in a soft opening, and the potato salad was, um, not right, I guess. But the Mac and cheese is good. I prefer more mayo than vinegar in my slaw, but I have tried both.. I actually prefer their red slaw! Note..sometimes you will get those crispy pieces of brisket and ooh man. Yum. The sauces are good, but I wish they gave you more than a little cup. The bathrooms have been clean each time we go. The music is particular and modern enough to where it should appeal to most. I hope they maintain this effort at both their restaurants!
